The "Clean Up Florida Waters" initiative, organized by Florida Realtors, mobilizes volunteers to address pollution across the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and various inland streams. In 2025, the project spanned 239 miles of waterways, drawing 2,050 participants who dedicated over 700 hours to restoration efforts. Chuck Bonfiglio Jr., president of the 2026 Florida Realtors, emphasized that the health of these ecosystems remains a primary driver for both residents and visitors in the Sunshine State.

Local associations are currently coordinating with environmental groups, including the Coastal Conservation Association and various Waterkeepers organizations, to expand their reach.
