The collaboration links SkySafe’s airspace intelligence platform with Cellebrite’s forensic ecosystem, allowing investigators to cross-reference historical flight paths with data extracted from mobile devices. This integration aims to bridge a recurring gap in public safety work: the disconnect between a drone’s physical presence in the sky and the digital footprint stored on its pilot’s hardware. By consolidating these disparate streams, agencies can map out illicit networks and identify operators with greater speed.
This agreement follows Cellebrite’s March 2026 acquisition of SCG Canada, Inc., further positioning the company as the primary digital forensics partner for SkySafe’s UAV detection capabilities. Shiven Ramji, President of Products and Technology at Cellebrite, noted that the move is intended to provide organizations with the clarity required to secure infrastructure against emerging UAV threats. SkySafe CEO Grant Jordan added that the partnership simplifies the transition from immediate incident response to long-term forensic investigation, providing a comprehensive view of drone activity that was previously fragmented.
