J&T Express Daily Parcel Volume Surpasses 100 Million Milestone

Surpassing a major operational threshold, J&T Global Express Limited processed 101 million parcels daily during the second quarter of 2026. The logistics provider reported a total quarterly volume of 9.177 billion items, driven by aggressive expansion across Southeast Asia and emerging international markets, cementing its status as a global logistics heavyweight.

The company’s growth trajectory remains anchored in its non-China operations, which accounted for 2.966 billion parcels—a 66.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Southeast Asia continues to serve as the primary engine for this expansion, contributing 2.755 billion parcels. To support this surge, J&T added 11 automated sorting lines and 6 sorting centers in the region, bringing total infrastructure to 75 and 127 units respectively by mid-year.

In China, the strategy shifted toward structural optimization and efficiency. The company handled 6.211 billion parcels in the second quarter, reflecting a 10.6% year-on-year increase. By adding 8 automated sorting lines to its domestic network, J&T has reached a total of 346 lines, prioritizing operational throughput over raw volume expansion in a maturing market.

International reach outside of Asia and China saw the most dramatic spike, with parcel volume jumping 136.5% to 211 million. Partnerships with major e-commerce platforms—including TikTok, TEMU, SHEIN, AliExpress, and Mercado Libre—have accelerated growth in Latin America and the Middle East. With 2,700 outlets now operational in these emerging regions, the company’s inclusion in the Hang Seng Index last June underscores investor confidence in its ability to scale infrastructure alongside rising digital trade demand.
