FINN Partners Expands Into Australia With Acquisition of Honner

Global marketing firm FINN Partners has acquired Sydney-based agency Honner, marking a strategic push into the Australian financial services sector. The deal integrates 25 specialists into FINN’s Asia Pacific division, positioning the firm to capitalize on an Australian pension market projected to reach AU $8.3 trillion by the early 2030s.

FINN Partners Expands Into Australia With Acquisition of Honner

The acquisition, announced July 7, 2026, officially brings the Honner team under the banner of "Honner, A FINN Partners Company." Founder Philippa Honner will transition into a dual role as Managing Partner and FINN Financial Services Practice Leader for the APAC region. Her mandate focuses on scaling the agency’s financial communications footprint across Asia, working alongside regional leadership in markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.

This move strengthens FINN’s capability to serve clients navigating the complex intersection of traditional capital markets and emerging digital financial infrastructure. With Australia’s superannuation pool currently valued at AU $4.5 trillion, the region represents one of the most significant caches of institutional capital globally. FINN’s leadership expects this expansion to bolster its regional fee base, which currently accounts for approximately USD $19 million.

While FINN previously maintained a presence in Australia through travel and arts-focused accounts, the addition of Honner provides the firm with deep-sector expertise in banking, asset management, and professional services. Howard Solomon, FINN’s APAC lead, will oversee the integration, merging Honner’s local industry relationships with the firm’s existing global infrastructure.
