Tetragon Financial Group Adds Simon Edwards to Board of Directors

Edwards arrives at Tetragon after a 13-year tenure as Head of Global Business Development at BlueMatrix, a firm specializing in investment research workflow technology. His career history includes a principal role at Lusight Research and leadership positions on equity sales desks at UBS and ING. Beyond his work in technology and sales, Edwards possesses previous board experience with funds managed by Westbourne River and Acasta, both of which operate under the Tetragon Partners platform. He holds an MBA from Durham Business School.

The appointment integrates Edwards into a board overseeing a closed-ended investment company with shares traded on Euronext Amsterdam and the Specialist Fund Segment of the London Stock Exchange. His arrival follows a period where Tetragon has focused on maintaining its existing governance structure while navigating complex regulatory environments in both the U.K. and Europe.
