The MSP 501, now in its 19th year, moves beyond simple revenue metrics to evaluate business sustainability, profit optimization, and recurring revenue strength. By analyzing data collected between February and May 2026, the assessment identifies firms that maintain robust growth while navigating an increasingly complex IT landscape. For California Telecom, the recognition underscores a shift toward AI-driven service offerings, with the company’s Netverge platform serving as a primary vehicle for future expansion.
Jim Gurol, CEO of California Telecom, attributed the achievement to the daily efforts of his engineering team. The firm, which provides services ranging from fiber connectivity to UCaaS, focuses on an engineering-first model to support mid-market clients across sectors such as healthcare and finance. The 501 organizations recognized this year averaged 10% revenue growth, with recurring revenue accounting for nearly 60% of their total intake. The complete list of honorees will be celebrated at the MSP 501 Awards Gala, scheduled for September 28-30, 2026, in Orlando.
