AoToRoBo Enters U.S. Market to Retrofit Older Vehicles with AI Tech

Millions of older vehicles currently lacking modern connectivity are the target of AoToRoBo, a new hardware brand launching in the U.S. today. The company is debuting two plug-and-play devices, Civo and Aero, designed to bring artificial intelligence and smart infotainment to cars without requiring expensive factory replacements or complex modifications.

The startup, founded in 2025 and backed by Casstime Technology, aims to modernize the driving experience by focusing on the gap between legacy vehicle hardware and modern consumer expectations. Founder Hank Luo asserts that the mission is to provide healthier and more connected environments regardless of the car's age, positioning these aftermarket tools as a bridge for long-term vehicle owners.

Civo functions as a portable, voice-activated AI companion capable of natural, unscripted conversation and customizable personalities. It is designed to move beyond the car, functioning in office or home settings as well. Complementing this, the Aero system offers a plug-and-play dashboard upgrade featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Play access. Beyond digital connectivity, the unit includes hardware for in-cabin wellness, specifically integrated HEPA filtration and negative ion air purification. Both products are currently available through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, with broader retail expansion planned for the coming months.
