Lakewood-Amedex is currently preparing for Phase 2 clinical trials for its lead candidate, Nu-3, specifically targeting infected diabetic foot ulcers. These infections remain a major driver of global hospitalization and amputation rates, exacerbated by the growing prevalence of drug-resistant bacteria.
