Marie Davies, Category Manager for Trays and Films, noted that the update focuses on scaling environmental performance without altering product functionality, quality, or standard article numbers for professional users.

This material evolution follows a long-term development process aimed at balancing high-performance requirements with circular economy goals. The new production standard is currently being rolled out across all new stock, ensuring that restaurants, hotels, and food retailers can adopt more sustainable alternatives without modifying their daily kitchen operations or sealing equipment.
