Texas Sports Academy Launches Elite Volleyball School in Frisco

A new institution in Frisco is set to challenge the traditional balance between academics and athletics by launching a specialized volleyball school for girls in grades 6-12. Opening this fall, the program integrates an AI-driven academic model with professional-level coaching to prepare students for Division I competition.

Texas Sports Academy Launches Elite Volleyball School in Frisco

The academy will limit its inaugural class to 20 families, ensuring a high ratio of personalized instruction. Located near the Dallas Cowboys' headquarters at Elite Performance Training, the school uses a mastery-based academic system that condenses core coursework into two morning hours. This structure frees the remainder of the day for three hours of specialized volleyball training, strength conditioning, and NIL-focused life skills education.

Leadership for the project includes Jason Nicholson, executive director of Texas Advantage Volleyball, and three-time national champion coach Jerritt Elliott. The facility provides students with professional-grade resources, including dedicated indoor courts, on-site sports medicine, and recovery suites. By combining these athletic assets with a rigorous, individualized curriculum, the academy aims to produce athletes capable of navigating the changing landscape of collegiate sports while maintaining academic proficiency.
