Hisense Air Conditioning Revenue Surges Across Western Europe

A 100% year-on-year sales spike in the French market highlights a shift in European home cooling preferences. As consumers pivot away from complex, labor-intensive installations, Hisense is capturing significant market share by focusing on modular hardware and energy-efficient designs tailored for older buildings and urban apartment living.

In the first half of 2026, Hisense reported a near 20% increase in air conditioning revenue across Western Europe. This growth trajectory suggests a departure from traditional seasonal purchasing patterns, favoring units that prioritize user-friendly maintenance and installation flexibility. The company’s Uni series addresses this demand by utilizing a modular architecture, which allows installers to bypass the extensive labor requirements typically associated with retrofitting older residential structures.

Beyond installation, the brand is targeting the premium segment with its Air Master line. This system features a Smart Eye Pro thermal sensor that monitors occupant positioning to prevent the discomfort of direct cold drafts. The unit, which earned a Red Dot Award, operates at a near-silent 18dB while maintaining an A+++ energy efficiency rating for both heating and cooling. By integrating these specialized features—such as tool-free filter access and refined aesthetic panels—Hisense is positioning its hardware as a long-term utility rather than a temporary solution for peak summer heat.
