Highline Warren Workers Join Teamsters in West Virginia

For Dorothy Cook, an 18-year veteran of the facility, the vote represents a shift toward gaining the respect and compensation long sought by the workforce.

Rick Bauer, President of Local 697, confirmed that the union is already preparing for negotiations to secure a robust first contract. While this facility is just one of 12 distribution centers across the country, Tom Erickson, Director of the Teamsters Warehouse Division, views the victory as a critical expansion of the union’s reach into the logistics sector, signaling a broader push to organize Highline Warren’s national operations.
