Kenneth Hartwick joins PPL Corporation Board of Directors

Hartwick will take seats on the board’s Finance Committee and the People and Compensation Committee. Craig A. Rogerson, the independent chair of PPL’s board, noted that Hartwick’s tenure as both a CEO and CFO provides the specific expertise required for overseeing large-scale generation investments and complex risk management. This appointment brings the total number of directors on the PPL board to 10.

Before his time leading Ontario Power Generation from 2019 to 2025, Hartwick held executive roles at Just Energy Group, Hydro One, and Wellspring Financial Corporation, following an early career as a partner at Ernst & Young. He currently serves on several other boards, including the MYR Group Inc., where he holds the position of board chair, as well as Denison Mines Corp. and the Independent Electricity System Operator of Ontario.
