The partnership focuses on three primary pillars to modernize financial analysis. First, FactSet will embed Gemini Enterprise agents directly into its workstation, allowing users to leverage multi-modal research capabilities and deep data grounding. Second, the companies are expanding their previous work with Google DeepMind to improve interoperability between FactSet’s systems and Gemini Enterprise, enabling smoother data flow for professionals building and deploying proprietary agents. Finally, the firms will jointly develop specialized workflows for portfolio management, corporate finance, and deal advisory.
Beyond software integration, FactSet is adding Google Cloud to its existing cloud provider portfolio. CEO Sanoke Viswanathan noted that the move is designed to make financial agents more intuitive and connected, while Google Cloud’s Karthik Narain emphasized the necessity of anchoring advanced AI in high-fidelity, industry-specific intelligence. This shift reflects a broader industry push to move beyond simple chatbots toward autonomous agents capable of executing complex, defensible tasks in highly regulated financial environments.
